The Local Team
Robert Mackay
Partner
Born in Enfield, Middlesex in 1966, Rob began his estate agency career in 1984 in Hemel Hempstead and has never left the industry. In the mid-1990s, he moved to High Wycombe, where he and his friend and business partner, Sean Owen, acquired Matthews Estate Agents. Together, they transformed it from a small, one office family-run business into one of the town’s most prominent and successful multi-branch agencies.
In 2009, Rob became one of the founding partners of The Wye Partnership, which has since grown into one of the largest and most successful independent estate agencies in the area.
Rob lives in Holmer Green with his wife, Lorraine, and their dog, Poppy. Between them, they have four children and four grandchildren (with more to follow so they are told). When he’s not working or spending time with family, Rob enjoys long country walks, supporting his beloved Spurs, and relaxing with a pint in one of the area’s excellent local pubs.
Darrell Litchfield
Partner
Born and raised in High Wycombe, Darrell has worked in estate agency in the town for over 40 years and is a well-known, respected figure in the local property market. He began his career in 1983 as a trainee negotiator with Stimpsons Cruickshank and went on to manage several successful agencies across the area. He later became a partner at JNP before co-founding Wye Residential in 2009, alongside Garry Almrott, Rob Mackay, Steve Harnett, and Sean Owen.
Darrell’s deep roots in the town—growing up in Booker, attending Cressex School as Head Boy, and playing county-level football—give him unrivalled local insight and a genuine passion for the community he serves.
Although now based in County Antrim with his wife Leanne, Darrell continues to divide his time between Northern Ireland and High Wycombe, driven by a long-standing commitment to the area and its people. A proud father of two and stepfather to three, he remains an avid sports fan and loyal supporter of Wycombe Wanderers.
In his downtime, Darrell enjoys exploring the stunning Antrim coastline with his two lovely—but slightly crazy—Cockapoos, Bailey and Hugo.
Steve Harnett
Partner
Steve was born in Amersham in 1967 and grew up in Holmer Green, attending all three of the local schools. He began his career in estate agency in 1984 as an office junior at Hetheringtons in Beaconsfield. He later joined Crendon House in High Wycombe, where he progressed to manage the office, before moving to Philip Green in 2002.
Steve lives in High Wycombe with his wife, who has worked in both private and secondary schools in the area. They have three children, two of whom have already embarked on their own careers.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Steve is a lifelong Arsenal supporter and has been a season ticket holder since 1990. He keeps active by swimming regularly — including the occasional endurance swim — and enjoys walking his dog, Maisey, around The Rye, Kingsmead and the surrounding countryside. He’s also known to enjoy a visit to the local pubs now and then.
Tracy Anson
Office Manager
Tracy lives in a rural village a few miles outside High Wycombe and is an experienced estate agent with an impressive 24 years in the property industry. Her impressive knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service have earned her a trusted reputation among clients and colleagues and there is nothing more she enjoys than overcoming the hurdles throughout the process of buying and selling and getting the clients moved into their new homes.
Outside of work, Tracy enjoys spending time outdoors and loves her long walks with her two beloved cocker spaniels, Luna and Maple who never fail to keep her on her toes.
Abigail Wallis-Prior
Office Administrator
I’ve been part of Wye Residential since the very beginning in 2009, based in our High Wycombe office. My estate agency career began in 1996 with Hamptons in Gerrards Cross, later joining their Land & New Homes department. I then moved to an asset management company in London.
In 2002, after marrying my husband Gary, we moved to Cornwall—working in an agency in Helston was a dream come true, and a bit of my heart still belongs in Cornwall. (I’m just waiting for the day we open a Wye Coastal branch!).
We returned to Hazlemere in 2004 after the birth of our first son, Jo, and I restarted my career with Phillip Green & Partners—buying our home and getting the job in the same week! It was there I worked again with Rob, Steve, and Ian for the first time.
Working at Wye feels like working with family. Many of us have worked together for years, and we’re a tight-knit, supportive team. My role has evolved over time, and I now manage much of the day-to-day administration in the office. I’ve even been described—affectionately—as the “Office Wife” or “The Crow” (as in the protective birds at the Tower of London)!
I love the variety in my role—it’s a unique position that lets me organise, arrange, problem-solve, and get involved across the board. It suits my inquisitive mind perfectly.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and socialising with friends. We have a fox-red Cockerdor named Merlin, and we spend lots of time walking the local fields together.
Max Robertson
Viewing Assistant
Max was born in High Wycombe in 2003. For 3 years, he studied at Newcastle University and graduated in 2024.
After university, he started working in the Estate Agency industry at The Wye Partnership High Wycombe on the weekends. In the week, he works for his parent’s fireplace and stove business in Stokenchurch.
Out of work Max is a life-long Barcelona fan (long story), loves the gym and exercising.
Sam Bates
Viewing Assistant
Born and raised in High Wycombe since 2002, Sam has recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with a first in Business and 12 months of work experience in Food Manufacturing.
He has since returned to live with his parents, younger brother, and pet dog. In his free time, Sam keeps fit by playing tennis/padel and likes going to the gym. To wind down, he usually watches a film or whatever sports on (supports Chelsea).

From the high quality internet details to the super quick responses to any enquiries, the whole process was hassle free. They also recommended a really good solicitor to us. Well done to Rob, Tracy and all the team.Posted on wiktoria helena staniszewska27 June 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tracy and Rob have been so helpful in the process of the purchase of our new home ! Very warm and kind people, so easy to communicate and very friendly. If you are a first time buyer they are very supportive with the process and with great recommendations. Also a mention to Max who was the one who showed us around our future home. If I had to do this process again I will definitely choose them. Thank you for all the help to the whole team ☺️Posted on Jason Stone25 June 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great team at Wye Residential! Dealt with the sale of our property and through no fault of their own, 3 sales fell through but Wye persevered and found a genuinely interested buyer. A special mention goes to Ryan, for taking extra care and attention with viewings and took in all the information we gave in regard to special features and USP’s of the property. Also a mention to Kiera for dealing with our frustrations towards to endPosted on Lamiya Dukali20 June 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you to the Wye Partnership team, Steve you’re an amazing person! ✨🏠Posted on Stephen Mitchell5 June 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great Estate Agents! I recently bought a flat in Wycombe through Wye. Rob was a fabulous agent and all of the agents in the office were really friendly. The whole thing was handled really well, and I would certainly recommend Wye if you need an estate agency. Great job guys thank you!Posted on kim pearce5 June 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wow, these guys have once again gone way above and beyond to exceed our expectations in overseeing our two property sales! Steve and his team are highly knowledgeable, professional, personable and honest - they have reassuringly led us patiently through the process and we have nothing but good things to say about them. Highly recommended without any hesitation.Posted on Euan Thomas28 May 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can only say good things about Wye Partnership. Steve and the team have been fantastic from start to finish. They offered us expert advice and guidance throughout our house sale. They really have an excellent knowledge of the local market and a keen eye on properties coming on and off the market. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Wye Partnership to friends and family.Posted on Nasco Johnson28 May 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a separate sale of my old house and buying a new house. Conveyancing solicitors were nightmare. They were trying to delay everithing just the sale to take place after 01/04/25 when the the law is changing. Some of them were very incompetent of what they are doing. Rob from Wye was pationt and stabale and helped a lot in the situation. Wye were absolutly professional and understanding the situation. I do not want to buy another house, but if it comes to this, I will go again with Wye estate agents.Posted on Google rating score: 4.9 of 5,
